A kundan polki flower pendant is the pinning point — from it, a long cascade descends: linked polki and kundan motifs, pearl drops at each junction, a final pearl tassel at the base — while a secondary small pearl chain drapes outward from the same pin point, settling against the hair like a miniature passa. Two jewellery forms in one piece, both of them doing their job.
Sitara Kalgi — a star tassel. Named for the way the kundan pendant at the top catches light: fixed, precise, the point from which everything else flows. Of all the Simar kalgi styles, the Sitara is the most architectural — its length and the addition of the pearl drape making it a piece that requires and deserves a big occasion.
