A shield-shaped polki stud with meenakari enamel detailing — uncut stone flat-faced and luminous at the centre, the border carrying the fine enamel work that Jaipur has perfected over four centuries. The form is compact; the craft is not. This is a stud that rewards a close look.
Paan — the leaf form that has appeared in Indian jewellery and architecture for centuries, carrying associations of auspiciousness and welcome. The Polki Paan brings that shape to the ear in the polki-meenakari technique, a combination that is entirely Jaipur's own.
