A single bezel-set red stone stud holds two parallel strands of pearls, each growing larger toward the end, so the drop reads full at the bottom rather than tapering off. Compact where it meets the ear, then all movement below. Laal Jhalar — a red fringe. Laal, red, is the colour Indian bridal wear never really lets go of, and this earring gives it in the smallest possible dose: one stone, everything else in pearl.
