Each stone in this necklace is an uncut polki — a flat, unpolished diamond-substitute with the organic, imperfect beauty that machine-cut stones can never replicate. Set in hand-applied terracotta and gold enamel, each stone is cradled in a border of warm orange that deepens the gold and gives the whole necklace an antique, heirloom quality that photographs as richly as it appears in person.
