Chandr Tikki Polki Kundan Drop Maang Tikka

Polki on the forehead. That is an old decision, and a correct one. A crescent-shaped polki kundan pendant hangs from a fine pearl chain — uncut stones set flat in gold, exactly as Jaipur's craftsmen have done for four centuries. Below the pendant, a single polki drop extends the line downward. It is a tikka with real craft behind it, worn close to the face where it matters most. Chandr Tikki — moon pendant — references the chandbali tradition, the crescent silhouette that Rajasthani jewellery has carried since the Mughal courts. On the maang, it becomes something intimate. The piece a mother puts on her daughter before she walks out the door. Pairs with the Sitara Polki Earrings. Handcrafted in Jaipur using the polki-kundan technique. Assembled in Faridabad.
